This video reminds me of the Math Doodle videos that Vi Hart creates. This is the kind of thing I would like to try to create for a few physics topics that students continually struggle with.

This is very well done, congrats! It is different from the Math Doodle video though in that Jason’s hand does not show. I’d like to learn more on how you create that stop-motion effect.

I like the time lapse videos and they are relatively easy to make. We discussed music in the background and this case, when there is no talking to hear, the music really adds a lot to the production.

Great video. I loved the sound effect at the start of the video. Not sure if it was part of the music score, but it really grabbed my attention and made me tune right into the video (as I was multitasking at the time, which no doubt many of our students may do when they view videos).

  9. Thanks for the comments everyone! One of the ideas that comes up here, and in the OER canvas module seems to be the questions of ‘relevance’ and if these forms of media ‘could be used in the classroom’ , specifically your own.
It is a good questions to keep in mind, but before we get there we want to develop some proficiencies with the tools and PRACTICE, practice, practice, this form of media publication. Its only when the skills become second nature that you can truly consider the context and in which they are used to enhance the learning experience.
